Manufactured in Ballarat, Victoria, Freighter trailers are built using locally sourced high tensile Australian steel, advanced TRUMPF laser cutting technology and Valk Welding robotic welding systems.

The result is consistent structural integrity, precise fabrication and long term durability.

Freighter has been building trailers in Australia since 1946. Operators across South Australia and the Northern Territory choose them because they stay straight, handle tough agricultural work and retain strong resale value.

Purpose Built for Hay Cartage

This ST3 Drop Deck has been configured specifically for bale work in SA and NT conditions.

The drop deck layout allows:

• 3 high on the top deck
• 4 high on the rear drop deck

Estimated capacity up to 41 large square bales depending on bale dimensions and stacking method.

There is no true standard hay bale size. Bale height and density vary. The advantage of a drop deck is improved stacking flexibility while keeping overall loaded height and centre of gravity under control. A straight deck cannot achieve the same stack configuration without pushing height.
